He talks for a minute and the camera gets some good stable shots of Brett sitting at a table andJules, semi-angry face. Vincent, aka Jon Travolta is seen in the background rolling up a smoke.

The Dogtown and Z Boys documentary is about the pioneering of skateboarding in 1970s from Venice, California. The documentary has some really good B roll, I love the look of how everything was filmed. This is the begging of a sport that means so much to me. You can tell in this video skateboarding got a lot of its influence and riders from surfing.
I couldn't really pick one scene so I picked one whole scene and the start of the next. In the first scene its some skaters pretending to be golfers. the whole shot gives the same kind of vibe a actual golf video would. In the second part of this short clip from the hour and twenty minute video was in my opinion the most impressive scene from the whole thing. The scene consists of a skater doing a front 360 on a vert ramp but the camera does a 360 with him as well. the camera is on a mount that lets it move 360 degrees but that is attached to an arm that can move and follow that skater. I think this is a shot that should be recreated in 2018. New skater, new camera it looks amazing. Plus this is all filmed in 1989.
